It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Edward Nelson of Onondaga, Michigan, born in Remus, Michigan, who passed away on April 8, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nelson and Yvetta Nelson (Sniff); his wife Shirley Mae Nelson (Gatehouse); his daughter Karen Nelson; and his grandson Danni Hawkins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Mahle of Onondaga, Charlene Hawkins (William) of Bellevue and Cindy Nearman (Richard); and his grandchildren, Tommi Hawkins, Mandi Grigg (Mick), Sherri MacCumber (Blake), Julie Graham (Brian), J. D. Gibson, Donald Gibson (Shannon), Melissa Collier (James) and David Nearman (Kristina). He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
