She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Jackson and Jerez Jackson (Reynolds). She is survived by: her husband Jack Nelson; her grandchildren, Taya Nelson (Rigo), Tarin, Tyge and Chad Kramer (Michele); her brother Robin Jackson of New York; her brother-in-law Larry Jackson of Florida; her niece Tyge Nelson; and her nephew Ian.

Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church in Onekama or Homeward Bound of Manistee in honor of Ivan, Tux, Nevada, Cheyenne, & Siera.
