She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Satal and Norma Haughton Satal; her brother Richard Satal; her stepfather Thomas VanIttersum; and her stepbrother Thomas VanIttersum II.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Steen (Bruce) of Kalamazoo; her nephews, Joshua Steen (Anna) and Zachary Steen; her niece Emily Crum (Keith) of England; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jackson, Robert (Robbie), Stella, Audrey Steen and Clementine Crum.
