It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther Marie Pierson of Onekama, Michigan, who passed away on May 6, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Smith (Falk) and Robert Smith; her sister Sue Murar (LaVerne Howard Pierson); and her son Ryan Robert LaVerne Pierson. She is survived by: her spouse LaVerne Howard Pierson of Manistee; her sister Sandra Majeski (Smith) of Muskegon; her daughter Dena M. Peterson (Pierson) of Onekama; her granddaughters, Jadeyn Marie Peterson of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Carleigh Weslyn Rylee Peterson (Onekama); her children, Ken Murar (Ann), Aryn (Adam), Zach (Maria) of Muskegon and Thomas Murar of Siesta Key, FL; her niece Kathy Kuharevicz (Paul); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Dean, Keith, Neil and Glen of Muskegon; her nephew Alan Majeski (Daughn); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Andrea and Nathan Majeski of Muskegon; her cousins, Ruth Hudson (Rod) of Onekama and Doug Shultz (Stacy) of Onekama; and her caregivers, Clayton, Laura, Melissa, Elaine, Betsy and Mark O'Brien.
Due to the rise in Covid, services will be held at a later date (probably sometime in July).
