He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bickes and Catherine Bickes (Finney); and his brother Clifford Bickes. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Steven Bickes and Kimberly Isaak (Brendan); his granddaughters, Layla Isaak and Ameerah Bickes; his siblings, Charlotte Major (Louis), Charles "Curt" Bickes (Janice), Cathy Bickes, Carrie Bickes, Connie Bickes, Cecilia Bickes and Collette Finney; and his goddaughter Amy Eberflus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
