He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Anne; his wife Elaine Schmidt; and his son David. He is survived by: his child Dean Schmidt (Heather); and his siblings, Timothy Schmidt, Noreen Lawrence and Michael Schmidt.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Utica (8459 Hall Rd, Utica, MI 48317). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
