It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Adkins of Onaway, Michigan, who passed away on March 29, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Opal Adkins to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George L. Campbell and Nellie Mae Campbell (Helemkey); her son John Adkins; her siblings, Melvin Campbell, Arlene Sorgenfrei and Cloral Hoeft; and her children-in-law, Sandy DeYoung, Larry Taylor and Dick Rumsey.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Taylor of Onaway, Karen Rumsey of Gaylord, Claudia Santini (Angelo) of Petoskey, James Adkins (Betty Lou) of South Dakota and Ronnie DeYoung (Judy) of Onaway; her daughter-in-law Linda Adkins of Fenton; and her friend Terrie Lamont of Onaway. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
