He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling Freier and Marie Freier (Hawkins); and his siblings, Wesley Freier and Hazel Olmsted. He is survived by: his sons, Brian Freier of Alpena and Randy Freier of Alpena; and his brother Paul Freier of Ocqueoc. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
