Margaret M. Dunbar Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret M. Dunbar of Onaway, Michigan, born in Saint Ignace, Michigan, who passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Dennis and Bertha Dennis (Dumas); her husband John E. Dunbar; her son John; her daughter-in-law Paula Dunbar; her grandsons, Anthony Dunbar and Steve Walker; her brother John; her sister-in-law Libby Dennis; her sisters, Thora Bannon and Kathleen Kowalski; and her niece Cheryl Dean.
She is survived by: her sons, Anthony "Tony" Dunbar (Sandra) of South Carolina and Rick Dunbar (Angela) of Cheboygan; her daughter-in-law Ellen Dunbar of Alpena; her grandchildren, Traci (Mike), Mark Walker (Carol), Shawn Walker (Lisa), Vivien Ross, Spencer Ross and Mitchell Ross; her nieces and nephews, Penny Treadway and Kelly Darga; and her friend Carol Smrchek of Rogers City. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and several great, great grandchildren.
