He was predeceased by: his father Carl Griffin. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Griffin (Gray) of Algonac; his wife Rhonda Pomranke; his children, Karl Griffin Jr. of Springfield, Blaine Preston (Jim) of Onaway and Blair Griffin (Don Heythaler) of Onaway; and his granddaughter Gabrielle Preston of Onaway. He is also survived by three brothers and three sisters and his precious cat.
