She was predeceased by: her father John "Jack" Adkins; her daughter Opal Sheer (Frank); her husband Dick Rumsey; her stepmother Opal Adkins; her brother John Adkins; and her mother-in-law Rosa Rumsey.
She is survived by: her children, Dianna Brown (Kyle), Paula Clouse (Paul), Richard Rumsey (Kim) and John Rumsey (Feleena); her siblings, Jim Adkins and Carol Taylor (Adkins); and her stepbrother Ron DeYoung. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
