She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Ballard and Gladys Ballard (Clementson); her husband Lloyd A. Mason; her son Thomas; her siblings, Marvel Rogers and Virgil Steward; and her children-in-law, Cindy Mason and John Shaloy.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Mason of Onaway, Karen Shaloy of Onaway, Kathy Salow (Jack) of Munising and Nancy Thornton of Oklahoma.
