It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Smith Grainger (Onaway, Michigan), who passed away on March 2, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Franklin 'Casey Douglas and Nellie Douglas; her former husband Walter Edmond Smith; her daughter Linda Smith Rieger; her son-in-law Lenny; her husband Howard; her grandchildren, Tessa Stromdahl (Brad), Jenna LaFountain (William), Benjamin Rieger, Mark Rieger Freeman (Shanda) and Troy Rieger; her great grandchildren, Billy, Allyse, Ayden LaFountain, Leo, Hugo Stromdahl, Heidi Freeman and Cheyanne Moore (Freeman); her stepchildren, Don Grainger (Robin), Jim Grainger (Sally), Kathy Arkwood (Brad) and Diane Grainger; and her sister Patti Crawford of Rome, NY. She was also cherished by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
