She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Baker and Pearl Baker (McIntosh); her husband Lyle Preston; her daughter Vickie Lou Abbe; her siblings, Don Baker (KJ), LouAnn Perkins (Kenny) and Dona Baker; and her in-laws, Forest, Don (Ruby), Jerry, Ray (Susie), Sidney and Glenda Turcott.
She is survived by: her son Dan Preston of Onaway; her grandchildren, Sheila Thorpe (Jason) of Lewiston, Thomas Moran of Bliss, Sarah Hopp (Todd) of Onaway, Jess Preston (Erica) of Sault Ste and Chris Preston of Onaway; her great grandchildren, Austin, Tom, James, Elizabeth, Russell, Hayden, Mya and Forest; and her siblings-in-law, Homer Preston and Nancy Preston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Chagnon Funeral Home (20742 State St, Onaway, MI 49765). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Forest Township Hall (Tower Hall) (9511 M-68, Onaway, MI 49765).
