We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2021, at the age of 85, Elsie M. Smith (Onaway, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Hoffmeyer and Eva Hoffmeyer; her husband Stanley R. Smith; and her siblings, Dorothy Painter and Earl Hoffmeyer.
She is survived by: her children, Darwin Smith (Charlene) of Onaway, John Smith (Carey) of Onaway and Lori Allen (Scott) of Brighton; her siblings, Florence Newsted of Fremont, Thelma Curtis (Aaron) of Onaway, Darlene Homkes (Rick) of Russiaville, IN, Allan Hoffmeyer of Onaway and Jay Hoffmeyer (Denise) of Onaway; and her siblings-in-law, Christine Hoffmeyer, Barbara Oard, Kate Sherman (Jerry) and Clifford Smith. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
