He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Mix and Genevieve Mix; and his sister Linda Mix. He is survived by: his grandchild Marty; his wife Robin; his children, Laurie, Matt Nave, Allison, Erin McLean, Marty and Amy Mix; his grandchildren, Allie Nave, Isaac Nave (Cassandra), Rachel Nave (Ryan Reiger), Morgan McLean (Caitlyn), Madison McLean, Malaurie McLean, Jager Mix (Macie), Jadin Mix, Jerzi Mix, Mikaiyla Vallance (Josh) and Mackensie Massey; his great grandchild Stevie Reiger; and his pet Ted.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chagnon Funeral Home (20742 State St, Onaway, MI 49765). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Joy Community Church (3845 S County Line Rd, Onaway, MI 49765).
