She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Failing and Reva Failing (Owens). She is survived by: her pet Norman; her sons, Mark Coates (Debbie) and Wesley Coates (Tara); her grandchildren, Mark Anthony Coates and Genny Coates (Christopher Noell); her stepgrandchildren, Kurtice Erving, Kodi Erving and Kelcei Erving; her great grandchildren, Kayla Noell and Conner Noell; and her siblings, Larry Failing (Elaine) and Judy Chadwick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
