The passing of Richard Dart Otto of Olivet, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 21, 2024 at the age of 76. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Otto and Doris Otto (Schultz); his brother John Otto (Nancy); his nephew Alan Otto; and his grandson Oliver Hessert.

He is survived by: his wife Lynda E. Jones; his children, Heath Otto (Melinda) of Olivet, Timothy Otto (Kimberly) of Chelsea and Laura Hessert (William) of Bellevue; his grandchildren, Payton Otto, Cooper Otto, Teegan Otto, Nolan Otto and Grady Otto; and his sister Patricia Young (Albert) of Commerce Township. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home (206 W Lawrence Ave, Charlotte, MI 48813).

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to collect funds to put towards the beautification or improvement of his favorite fishing place where he spent countless hours and made many memories in Soldotna, Alaska.
