He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jane Brownell; his children, Pam Bess and Randy Kilbourn (Dale Klahn); his grandchildren, Gerry Bess (Brittany), Alicia Horton (Ken) and Joanna Smith (Derek); his great grandchildren, James, Brooke, Jackson, Robby, Emma and Peyton; his son-in-law Ken Bess (Grace); his close friends, Steve and Kathy Penny; and his siblings, Janette Robertson, Leon, Mary Jane Niemela (Paul), Leola Kilbourn and Bill O'Neal.
