She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sumerix and Ina Sumerix (Baker); her husband Charles Rutter; and her siblings, Lyle Sumerix, Joyce Morgan, Betty Ross and Harry Sumerix.

She is survived by: her children, Jacquelynn Kwiatkowski, Jeffrey Rutter (Katie Collier) and James Rutter; and her grandchildren, Katelyn, Stephanie Kwiatkowski and Alex Schneider. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
