He was predeceased by: his parents, Carney Harris and Edith Harris (Smith); his wife Janice R. Persons; his daughter Becky; his brother Frank Harris; and his close friend Darlene Coats.

He is survived by: his daughter Tina Rudolph (Mark) of Battle Creek; his siblings-in-law, Paula and Skip Kunkel; and his son-in-law Scott Ramage (Amy) of Olivet. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
