It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Michael Mentel of Okemos, Michigan, born in Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on January 5, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Loretta Russeau; and his wife Floreine Mentel. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Mentel (Tamara) and Jennifer Weichel (Larry); his grandsons, Andrew Weichel (Lindsey), Jack Weichel and Christopher; and his children, Daniel, Rhianna and Miranda Mentel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Monroe County 4-H or Zion Lutheran Church.
