She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Hawes and Mary Hawes (Myk); her husband John Sims Sr.; her children, Christina Currier and Charles Sims; and her brothers, James and Elbert Hawes.
She is survived by: her sons, John Sims Jr. of Oakley and Lucas Sims of Oakley; her son-in-law Mike Currier of Chesaning; her grandchildren, Elisabeth Blaney (Matthew) of St. Charles, Billy Foster (Emily) of Durand, Hunter Currier of Chesaning, Shane Sims of Burt, Devon Sims of Oakley, Justin Sims of Oakley, Layne Sims of Oakley and Caidence Sims of Oakley; her great grandchild Rileyjo Blaney of St. Charles; and her siblings, Connie O'Brien (Neil) of Chesaning and David Hawes of Brant. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
