She was predeceased by: her parents, F. D. Bates and Clara Bates (Bowman); and her husband Harlan Krause. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Kelbey (Gilbert), Sherry Schoch (James), Terry Krause and Julia McCloskey (Michael); her siblings-in-law, Geraldine Konkus and Richard Whaley; and her close friends, Gerald and Marg Starke. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
