He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Baker and Beatrice Baker; his sisters, Amelia and Virginia; his son Garry; and his granddaughter Toni.

He is survived by: his former wife Arlene Baker of Lansing; his daughters, Beverly Sadilek (Ted) of Lansing and Rosanne Thiel (Mike) of Chesaning; and his grandchildren, Ed, Michael, Jeremy Sadilek, Jason, Ryan Thiel and Megan Ehlers. He is also survived by his 12 great grandchildren.
