He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his children, Ruthie and Scott; and his siblings, Angeline Van Omen, Clara Wiersma, Alma Van Omen, Grada Koning, Lenora Kuiper, June Ella Nyhuis, Florence Mae Capel and Leslie Dale Van Omen.
He is survived by: his sons, Victor Van Omen (Tamara) of Hamilton, Jim Van Omen (Pat) of Borculo and Eric Van Omen (Carol) of Grandville; his daughter-in-law Jackie Van Omen of Albuquerque, NM.; his grandchildren, Sheri, Tami, John, Melissa, Alan, Caleb, Camille, Theresa and Lindsey; and his parents-in-law, Mike Schuiteman (Ken), Wayne Koeman (Sandy), Ruth Koeman, John Potts, Evert Helms (Marcia) and Many.
