He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter W. Palmer and Anna K. Kreuzer; his sisters, Bernice Morse and Mary Lou Carey; his brothers-in-law, Dennis Morse and Mark Carey; and his nephew Mike Carey.
He is survived by: his friend Skipper; his wife Gail of Oakland Township; his children, Michael Palmer of Oakland Township, Steven Palmer (Bonnie) of Almont, Deborah Rosenthal (Philip) of Bakersfield, CA and Samantha (Michael) of Tetonia, ID.; his grandchildren, Declyn, Liam, Kameron Palmer, Sydney and Luke Kitchen; and his nieces and nephews, Kathie Pontious (Mike), Beverly Morse, Scook Morse (Dennis) and Patrick Morse (Julie).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you honor his memory by living Bill's way of life and helping neighbors (and others) with no expectations of anything in return.
