He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Sandefur; his parents, Nick Townsend and Doris Townsend; and his siblings, Curtis Sandefur, Norma Jean Dickinson, Bob Sandefur, Charles Sandefur and Wayne Sandefur.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott Sandefur (Sandy), Jeff Sandefur (Darlene) and Todd Sandefur (Kristy); his grandchildren, Kyle Sandefur (Allie), Kelly Bennyhoff (Brian), William Sandefur, Ryan Sandefur, Zachary Sandefur and Jillian Sandefur; his great grandchildren, Rowan Sandefur, Marley Sandefur, Bradley Bennyhoff, Adrienne Bennyhoff and Blake Bennyhoff; and his in-laws, Ruth Sandefur, Belita Sandefur and Linda Dukes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
