She was predeceased by: her husband Alan Herskovitz; and her parents, Ann Gottfried and Jerry Gottfried. She is survived by: her partner Linn Smith; her sons, Brian Herskovitz and Scott Herskovitz (late Suzette); her grandchildren, Jacob Herskovitz, Nathan Herskovitz, Dr. Jaylin Herskovitz (Austin Justice) and Jordan Herskovitz (Caleb Duchan); and her brother Roger Gottfried (Bobbi). She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ira Kaufman Chapel (18325 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48075). A reception was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Home of Amy Herskovitz (13751 Kingston St, Oak Park, MI 48237).
