She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Thomas and Rosie Thomas; and her brothers, Edgar Thomas Jr. and Billie Thomas. She is survived by: her daughters, Pernellar Hawkins and Renata Garner; her sister Bernice Starks; her grandchildren, Walter Gibbs, Stacie Gibbs and Shelton Hawkins; her great grandchildren, Justin Harris, Jaden Harris, Mariah Gibbs, Marissa Gibbs and Shelton Hawkins, Jr.; her great great grandchild Cardell Fletcher Jr.; and her close friend Carol Hughes.
A committal service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Parkview Memorial Cemetery (34205 Five Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154).
