He was predeceased by: his parents, Hanna Zeer and Haboba Zeer; and his spouse Suad Karcho Zeer. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer KassabJohn Zeer (Neil), Jeff (Angela) and ZeerStephanie Zakar (Hatim); his siblings, Karim, Hikmat (Zaia Zeer), Hasina Sheena and Jamila Dickow (Madeleine Kalla); and his grandchildren, Caitlyn, Madison Kassab, Ava, Chase, Kylie, Luke Zeer, Avery Heart and Nora Star.
