She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alvin Stark and Eva Stark (Carlson); her husband Jared Gieske; her son Gregory Gieske (Tinna) of Nunica; her grandson Nathan Gieske (Morgan); her sister Evelyn Shears (Howard); her stepchildren, Jared Gieske (Linda), Jeffrey Gieske (Nancy) and Gwen Steadman (Butch); her daughter Gayl Koster; and her stepgrandson Matthew Gieske. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
