With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Harvey Kirschbaum of Nunica, Michigan, born in Big Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on July 12, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Harvey Kirschbaum to pay them a last tribute.

Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kirschbaum and Margaret Kirschbaum (Van Westrienen); his mother-in-law June Arlene Porter; his son Forrest Kirschbaum; and his sister Irene Porter.

He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Walbrink (Kirt) of Fruitport, Bonnie Schippers (Greg) of Grand Haven, Tracy Luke (Tim) of Spring Lake and Karen Buckwald (Terry Tiles) of Grand Haven. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, several aunts and their families, and many nieces and nephews.
