He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Black Gibson and Elsie Wallace Gibson; and his sisters, Elizabeth D. Smith and Sheila M. MacDonald. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mae Joanna Gibson; his children, Kevin Robert Gibson (Xin Pan), Elise Duda (Fritz), Paul Douglas Gibson and Christina Anne Gibson (Brian Reyes); and his grandchildren, Robert Y. Gibson, Matthew J. Gibson, Virginia M. Duda, Elizabeth G. Duda, Fritz L. Duda, Douglas K. Gibson and Riley K. Gibson.
