As we bid Mary Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Patrick Skaja. She is survived by: her daughters, Katie Foss (Patrick) and Amy Smith (Robert); her grandchildren, Dylan Foss, Lauren Whitted (Zach), Emily Foss, Nylah Smith and Ben Smith; and her sister Patti Sue Cassar (Jim). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oak Pointe Church (50200 W 10 Mile Rd, Novi, MI 48374). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Oak Pointe Church (https://oakpointe.org) or the MDS Foundation.
