Joyce Ann Bousquet Obituary

Joyce Ann Bousquet, born December 2, 1945, in Livonia, Michigan, to William Harry Epley and Sara Ada Leonard, passed away on March 12, 2025. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and dear friend to many.

Joyce married her high school sweetheart, Jack D. Bousquet, nearly 62 years ago on March 16. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around family, love, and shared adventures. She was the proud and loving mother to Glenn (Beth) Bousquet, Donn (Marissa) Bousquet, and Jodi (Matthew) Kaczor. Joyce was an adoring grandmother to Jack, Cole, Claire, Erin, Matthew, and Quinn, as well as many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Sylvia Winekoff, and her twin brother, Joseph (Katherine) Epley, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Joyce had a passion for bowling and was a dedicated member of two bowling leagues. She served as the secretary for both leagues for over 40 years, displaying her commitment to the sport and her teammates. She was also the secretary for her Bentley High School reunion, maintaining cherished connections with lifelong friends. In addition to bowling, Joyce found joy in cross-stitching and sewing Memory Bears, crafting heartfelt keepsakes for loved ones.

Joyce and Jack loved traveling across the United States, creating wonderful memories along the way. She also spent time tracing her family's history, compiling an extensive family tree to preserve their legacy. One of her most generous contributions was donating 20 gallons of blood to the Red Cross throughout her lifetime, embodying her spirit of kindness and selflessness.

A Memorial Visitation to honor Joyce's life will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the L.J. Griffin Funeral Home - Northrop-Sassaman Chapel, located at 19091 Northville Road (just south of 7 Mile) in Northville. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at the L.J. Griffin Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made in Joyce's honor to the American Red Cross or (https://www.redcross.org). American Cancer Society or The Trees Remember Joyce's warmth, generosity, and love for her family and friends will be deeply missed, but her legacy of kindness and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
