He was predeceased by: his grandmother Kathleen Wilhelm. He is survived by: his parents, Darren Shelcusky and Tina Shelcusky; his siblings, Krista Marchello (John), Melissa Castro (Anthony), Paul Shelcusky (Christine) and Sgt. Stephen Shelcusky; his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Peter, Tyler, Luke, Catherine and Isaac; and his grandparents, James Wilhelm, Joseph and Kathleen Shelcusky.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (4000 Ave Maria Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48105). A burial was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery (300 Sunset Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103).
