It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Michel (Novi, Michigan), who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Janet may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Joseph Michel. She is survived by: her children, Roger Michel (Melissa) and Karen Minassian (George); and her son-in-law George.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Buddy's Pizza (44225 W 12 Mile Rd, Novi, MI 48377).
In lieu of flowers, Janet—herself a breast cancer survivor—would have appreciated donations to the Karmanos Breast Cancer Institute at Karmanos.org.
