He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Virginia (Siegfried) and Hugh Campbell Lyon Sr.; and his brothers, Robert and Richard Morden. He is survived by: his wife Marla Barbour; his children, Tina Gertsen (Jeff), Terrie Neely, Hugh Morden II, William Morden, Jamie Lanning (T. J.), Bryon Morden, Rayleen Mackenzie and Robert Barbour; and his brother Thomas Morden.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the O'Brien Sullivan Funeral Home (41555 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI 48375). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, http://www.cancer.org. an organization that was close to Hugh's heart.
