We bid farewell to Christine P. Doll of Novi, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 13, 2025 at the age of 77. Christine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Christine departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Christine may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Christine leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob J. Gaits and Mary Gaits; her brother Jacob; and her sister-in-law Jeanette Gaits. She is survived by: her significant other Paul; and her children, Connie Nelson (Scott) and Daniel Petrie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (122 W Lake St, South Lyon, MI 48178). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
