He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Lloyd E. and Mary E. Hamlin (Anderson); his wife Jean; his stepmother Berdell; his brother John Peter Hamlin; his parents-in-law, Helen (Lesnick) and Ivar Warner; and his siblings-in-law, Delores (Dolly) and Noel Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Hamlin (Christine) of Norway and Julie Coombs (Thomas) of Foley, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Luke Hamlin of Gaylord, MI, Nick Hamlin (Brittanie) of Gaylord, MI, Melissa Trevarthen (Derrek) of Iron Mountain and Robert Andy Coombs of Pensacola, Florida.; his great grandchildren, Kody Sheldon of Pensacola and Kaden Sheldon of Iron Mountain; his brother Robert Hamlin of Escanaba; and his sister-in-law Nina Hamlin of Appleton, WI. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
