He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Paul and Eleanor Paul (Jarley); and his brother Gary Michael Paul. He is survived by: his wife Rosie Geldmeyer; his sons, Jon Paul (Amanda), Gary Paul (Andrea) of Norway and Rick Paul (Nikki Peterson) of Norway; his stepchildren, Thomas Wright (Krissa) and Brandi Wright of Idaho; and his siblings, Clayton Paul, Jr. (Cathy) of Niagara, Bonnie St (Doug), Maryann Clark (Charles) of Hamilton Lakes and Jane Podgornik (Craig) of Iron Mountain. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
