He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Meiner and Alice Meiner (Arnold); his wife Marjorie Hoheisel of Mary's Church; and his siblings, Robert Harold Meiner, Dorothy Robertson, LaVerne Laesch and Evelyn Meiner.
He is survived by: his children, Alfred Meiner of Kingsford, Stephen Meiner (Cindy) of Waterford, Jean Meiner of Dexter, Michael Meiner (Karen) of Ray Township, Thomas Meiner (Julie) of Orlando, FL and James Meiner (Nancy) of Indianapolis, IN; his grandchildren, Benjamin Meiner (Melissa), Elise Hallsten (Caleb), Shannon Anderson (Daniel), Rachel Meiner, Amanda Goley (Jason), Nicole Meiner, Nathan Meiner (Emily), Kristin English (Joseph), Evan Meiner (Riley), Leah, Josiah, Samuel and David Meiner; his sister Eleanor LeBoeuf of Powers; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Meiner of Powers and Robert Hoheisel (Mary) of Norway. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ortman Funeral Home (618 Norway St, Norway, MI 49870). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
