Marietta Oja Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marietta Oja (Norway, Michigan), who passed away on March 16, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Kenny; her grandson Greg; and her siblings, Joseph Hulla, Kenneth Van Hulla, Llew Frye, Teresa Sears, Norma Gawlik and Alice Mross.
She is survived by: her spouse Veikko Oja; her children, Marie, Dennis (Sabah) of Troy, Mich., David (Evelyn) of Sterling Heights, Mich., Robert (Sherry) of Walworth, Wisc., John (Vivien) of St. Anthony, Minn., Karen Kufahl (William) of Westlake and Donna Oja of Rowland Heights, Calif.; and her daughter-in-law Susan of Pembine, Wisc.. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
They ask that in keeping with Marie's lifelong example of giving to those around her that donations be made to Karen's Pantry at St. Anthony's Church in lieu of flowers.
