He is survived by: his wife Kristina Finney; his children, Brian Michael (Samantha), Ian Michael (Christina), Jeff Mertz (Lynn) and Sarah Mertz-Lisecki (Josh); his brothers, Patrick Michael (Ivon), David Michael and Stephen Michael (Mary); and his grandchildren, Kaia, Jacob and Sean. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
