He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Povolo and Catharine Povolo (Storti); his wife Nadine Potkonjak; and his siblings, Mary Solda, Sylvia Miller, Lena Sanetti, Angeline Fellin, Agnes Thomas, Jeanette Lundin, Reno and Louis Povolo.

He is survived by: his son Ned Povolo (Neva); his grandchildren, Stefani Vail (Chris) and Katy Presser (Steve); and his great grandchildren, Damien, Penelope, Lydia and Ellie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
