He is survived by: his mother Tamara Ranta; his stepfather Charles Ranta of Beecher, WI; and his siblings, Eero Kanerva of Colstrip, MO, Bryce Brown of Iron Mountain, Laura Kanerva of Kingsley, Kristin Tryan (Ken) of Gladstone, Bridget Brown of Iron Mountain and Becky Brown of Norway. He is also survived by one niece; and one great niece; he also has a large extended family and is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
