He is survived by: his brothers, Douglas Oberthaler (Grace) of Greendale, WI and James Oberthaler of Wauwatosa, WI; his children, Peter Oberthaler (Diane) of Wichita, KS, John Oberthaler (Sara) of Stevens Point, WI, Joe Oberthaler (Peggy) of Pensacola, FL and Lori Mayer (Brett) of Green Bay, WI; his grandchildren, Andrew Oberthaler, Katie Oberthaler, Jody Chmay (John), April Oberthaler, Alex Oberthaler, Claire Oberthaler, Luke Mayer, Eric Mayer (Megan) and Karlee Mayer; his son Oliver Thiel; his great grandchildren, Stephen Mayer, Gideon Mayer and Sophie Chmay; his nieces, RoseAnne Aman (Ronald) and Ronda Lucas; and his friends, Walt and Diane Bellmore.
