She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerrit Vanderlaan and Emily Vanderlaan (Retsema); her husband Dr. Marvin A. Zuidema; her daughters, Dawn and Barbara; her granddaughter Amanda Folkema; her siblings-in-law, Carol Vanderlaan, Jack and Ruth Kroeze; and also, Albert and Minnie Zuidema (Weesies).
She is survived by: her children, Vonnie Folkema (Kent), Roger Zuidema (Tamara) and Kevin Zuidema (Maria); her grandchildren, Kyle Folkema (Jessica), Kara VandePol (Jacob), Amber Bull (Jacob), Lance Zuidema (Alana), Ashley, Paige Zuidema, Annalise and Elena Zuidema; her great grandchildren, Anders, Ellis, Henning Folkema, Caroline, Ivy, Scarlet Bull and Keegan Zuidema; and her siblings, Robert Vanderlaan, Ruth Holstine (James), Doug Vanderlaan (Jean) and Glenn Vanderlaan (Marla). She is also survived by her husband and children.
