He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Ohst and Edna Ohst (Marske). He is survived by: his wife Wendy of Norton Shores; his daughters, Heather Reyes of Norton Shores and Holly Garratt (Max) of Jenison; his grandchildren, Josh Ohst (Caitlin), Marc Ohst, Jessica Ohst (Bob Lake) and Julian Garratt; his great grandchild Emma Ohst; his sisters, Marva Redner of Arizona, Shari Martz (Ed Black) of Muskegon and Vivian Kauth (Gerald) of Washington; his close friends, Carol and Kurt Humphrey of Spring Lake; his brother-in-law Edward Barron of Massachusetts; and his nieces, Amy Marentic (Jeff) and Jamie Duell. He is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews.
